We are currently seeking a Counsellor for our Post-Secondary Support Program. The Counsellor directly reports to the Student Services Manager and will ensure students maximize their potential to succeed through their educational journey by offering learning, mental health and financial support. The candidate will develop relationships with external agencies, the community and participate in organizational activities. In addition, the Counsellor will maintain confidentiality by
adhering to FOIP principles and provide meaningful interactions with students.

The incumbent requires a Masters degree in Counselling, Social Work, Education or related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years experience in an adult education setting. They have demonstrated proficiency in technological skills and communicate in speech and writing. They are personable, compassionate, helpful and can work effectively in a team environment. The Counsellor will deliver services with respect and understanding of Blackfoot culture and participate in activities that promote Kainayssinni.

This is a full-time position at our Standoff campus. The start date is January 15, 2025 and offers a competitive salary with benefits.
