Job Summary

The Department of Radiology is recruiting a fellowship-trained full-time radiologist at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor to join our team.

We perform and interpret the full gamut of radiology examinations, including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and image--guided biopsies/drainage procedures and ablations as well as Nuclear Medicine studies, all using state of the art equipment.  Responsibilities also include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as an active engagement in research.

Our medical school has the largest group of health services researchers at our Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation. Our multidisciplinary programs include aorta/vascular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and oncologic programs for pancreatic, hepatic, colorectal, adrenal, gynecologic and urologic neoplasms.

Close collaborations with faculty in other departments provide a stimulating collegial atmosphere with numerous interdisciplinary clinical and research conferences. Academic productivity, clinical expertise, and a commitment to teaching are highly valued.

Required Qualifications*

M.D. or equivalent, ABR-certified or has passed the core examination and on track to take the certifying examination within 15 months of completing residency, fellowship training in specialized radiology field of study, and the ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Michigan. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in teaching is expected.
