Job Description:
Provide assistance to the Facilities Management department on personnel matters and serve as the primary liaison to University Human Resources. A primary focus is on the recruiting and onboarding of new staff. This should be done by providing assistance to supervisors and hiring managers, positively affecting process, and processing of administrative duties in a timely manner. Confidentiality of personnel matters is of the utmost importance.
Demonstrate extensive working knowledge of personnel and hiring procedures and policies to include Human Resources best practices and competencies. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments. Must have high initiative and be able to manage multiple projects. Proven organizational skills and ability to multitask. Demonstrated ability to interact with people and work without close supervision. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to exercise effective customer service and problem-resolution skills while serving a diverse customer base. Demonstrate considerable knowledge of and ability to produce documents and reports using Microsoft Office Suite. Must maintain strict confidentiality of all personnel information and documentation.
