The Department of Performing Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Dance for the Spring, 2025 beginning January 23, 2025. This position is to teach Dance 210: Rider Dances with emphasis on African Diasporic forms and related contemporary movement practices, resulting in a piece for presentation mid-March. 

• BA, BFA, or MFA in Dance or equivalent professional teaching/choreographic experience in the field, with particular emphasis on African Diasporic and related contemporary movement practices.

• Past experience teaching at an institution of higher education

• Professional choreographic experience with proven track record in choreographing in African Diasporic and related contemporary movement practices.
