Job Description

The Lead Media Specialist/Videographer plays a pivotal role in producing dynamic video content and supporting live streaming to enhance the college’s digital presence. Responsibilities include creating commercials, promotional and social media videos, and contributing to the content and growth of the college’s YouTube channel. The position requires collaboration with various departments to produce content aligned with institutional branding and goals. Proficiency in video editing software, live-streaming platforms, and camera equipment is essential. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in media production, communications, film, or a related field.
At least 2-3 years of experience in video production, videography, or a related role.
Proven experience in producing promotional, commercial, or social media content.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Experience with live-streaming platforms and software.
Skilled in using professional video and audio equipment.
Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and visual design principles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and carry equipment (e.g., cameras, lighting gear).
Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends for live events or project deadlines.
