The Chief of Administrative Services will ensure consistency and uniformity of administrative practice systems across all of West Central Behavioral Health's outpatient and residential locations in Grafton and Sullivan Counties. The individual supports each location's adherence to agency policies and standards.
Basic Responsibilities (partial listing):
- Actively participates in Executive Leadership Team meetings, which involve both the making of long-range policy decision and the addressing of specific problems or concerns, evaluates and advises on the impact of large range planning, introduction or discontinuance of programs, strategic and regulatory actions.
- Manages the development and implementation of goals, objectives, and priorities for each assigned service area; recommends and administers policies and procedures.
- Develops annual budgets, working with the CEO and CFO, ensuring that accurate staffing patterns and other anticipated expenses are included.
- Ensures office management processes at all locations are appropriate, continually improves and supports efficient practices as well as enhances client satisfaction.
- Oversees coordination of all outpatient and residential facility preventive maintenance; non-capital expense, routine repairs and procedures with Facility Director.
- Oversees residential program, including working with the WCBH team to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Oversee Centralized Scheduling for all WCBH clinicians.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Bachelor’s preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare or human services environment
- Or a combination of education and experience that provides the skill set to perform the required job duties.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate supervisory and development skills to lead effectively a professional staff, knowledge of business administration especially in a non-profit environment and health care delivery systems.
- A commitment to performance improvement and a team approach to management.
- Knowledge of administrative and office management procedures and methods.
- Skill in communicating and interacting with other staff members and ability to build effective relationships within the organization and with outside contacts.
