- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in communications, marketing or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience, demonstrating growth, increasing levels of responsibility and continuous improvement.
- Experience working with senior executives and leaders, demonstrating an ability to manage up, maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive matters.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the capacity to take initiative and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with multimedia (ex. Photo, video, editing, graphic design, etc.).
- Experience running paid ads for social media (ex. Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrates resourcefulness, resilience and self-awareness.
- Ability to work from the Durham campus several days per week.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel with executive leadership to various speaking engagements.

- Produce high-quality content, including photos, videos, graphics and copy to support various initiatives, ensuring the content is engaging, accurate and aligns with the university’s voice and messaging.
- Assist with leadership remarks and speeches. Facilitate the collection of data and information for remarks and speeches. Review and edit drafts of talking points to reflect the voice and priorities of the president and other executive leaders.
- Partner closely with University Advancement to review and approve executive communications related to development and fundraising initiatives.
- Manage marketing copy needs for a variety of alumni/advancement-related campaigns. This could include copy for emails, postcards, one-pagers, signage, etc.
- Write editorial pieces for the UNH news outlet, UNH Today.
Duty/Responsibility
- Manage the strategy, content calendar and analytics for strategic social media accounts.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other content creators across campus on relevant events and campaigns.
- Manage the paid social strategy and execution for the Central Marketing team.

- Support the vetting and executive preparation for events and speaking opportunities for executive leadership.
- Assist with efforts to ensure event parameters and logistics are understood and executive leadership is briefed and supported to ensure a successful engagement.
- Attend events and capture content. Write summaries and take photos and videos for internal and external communication platforms.
