About the Role:
Exciting and unique opportunity to join a fast paced and growing biopharma organization. The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis and partner with the commercial group to perform commercial planning, financial forecasting, budget-to-actual variance reporting and financial modeling. Responsible for implementing best practices in commercial biopharma FP&A utilizing data driven analysis for financial planning and general business and financial analyses._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Business partnering with the commercial organization as an embedded resource to deliver continuous improvements and data-driven business insights
Partner with the commercial group to prepare annual budget
Reviews and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual results, helping to understand variances of actuals vs budget or forecast
Analyzes departmental budgets and plays a key role in forecasting efforts to support financial planning and overall guidance
Collaborates with cross-functional business partners and teams within assigned functions and Accounting
Identifies and delivers opportunities to simplify and improve processes and systems and create operational efficiencies
Performs ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving, decision-making, and actionable recommendations for the business
Other duties as assigned
BS/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or closely related field and 6+ years of financial analysis experience; Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industry experience is a plus. Experience as client-facing finance resource is preferred. Financial system experience is preferred OR
Master's degree or MBA and 4+ years of similar experience noted above
Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work
Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas
Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area
Ability to work as part of a team
Has knowledge of best practices in Finance and Accounting and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines
Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry preferred
Commercial Finance experience is a plus
Excellent computer skills
Strong communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
Detail oriented yet can see broader picture for department
Ability to meet multiple deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders

Strong knowledge of MS Excel or other financial modeling tools or software
Working knowledge of financial planning and control processes, policies
Good knowledge of GAAP and Accounting guidelines preferred
Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of monthly, quarterly and annual close process
Strong financial analysis skills, framing of complex financial issues, and supporting strategic decisions
Ability to clearly and concisely explain complex issues, financial or otherwise
Strong interest in client-facing financial role and "embedded" within a function(s)

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $93,200.00-$135,275.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
