Position Summary
The department of Accounting and Finance at Indiana University South Bend invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant academic community dedicated to excellence in both education and research. Faculty responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in accounting, conducting research and publishing scholarly work in reputable academic journals, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic community through service activities such as attending and participating in faculty meetings and serving on relevant committees.
Tenure-track faculty receive 25% FTE reassigned time pre-tenure to engage in scholarly and creative activity. Tenured faculty members may request continued reassigned time through established protocols and procedures. United States citizenship or lawful permanent residence status is required for tenure.

Basic Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB accredited university within the USA is required; Advanced ABD candidates considered with evidence that the doctoral degree is expected to be awarded within 12 months of hiring.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
