Southwest University in El Paso, Texas, is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic individual to join our faculty as an Adjunct Instructor for our Master’s level International Business course. This position is designed for experienced professionals or academicians who are passionate about teaching and mentoring graduate students in the complexities and nuances of international business. Our 6 week length International Business class on 6/24/2024. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a vital role in educating and inspiring students in a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging course content in alignment with the curriculum.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that engages students and encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Stay current with developments in the field of international business and integrate relevant research and practices into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.
• Foster an interactive and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment processes

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a closely related field (a Doctorate is preferred).
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in international business or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience at the graduate level is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
• Proficiency in online teaching platforms and educational technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or DBA in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• A record of published research in the field of international business.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency.
