Job Roles

  • Provide coordination and administration for a wide variety of functions within compliance and onboarding to include File Maintenance, Audits, Reporting, and providing input into the decision-making process.
  • Coach and counsel staff and administer appropriate disciplinary action in a timely manner.
  • Provide/ensure employees receive and complete all new hire requirements on time.
  • Ensure all initial and bi-annual credentialing and privileging requirements for non-LIP employees are completed and documented per policy and third-party requirement in a timely manner, including, but not limited to: a. relevant education to include training, current clinical competence, current certification, and current licensure or registration was collected and documented in the onboarding process. b. documentation of government-issued photo identification, fitness for duty items, infectious disease screenings.
  • Export and analyze reports from various databases and portals to ensure the integrity of the data and information aligns with credentialing and privileging requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and direction in the development and implementation of onboarding and audit processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards
  • Audit essential processes to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented as directed.
  • Oversee a wide range of workforce compliance items to include but not limited to reference assessments, background, and drug screening, fingerprinting for DOJ LiveScan, etc.
  • Lead the preparation for a variety of audits and site visits by various regulatory agencies on workforce compliance issues and requirements.
  • Perform monthly Exclusion monitoring to ensure documentation is current in the database tracking systems that are used by external organizations for audit and site visits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field required.
  • Related HR Certifications preferred
  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County, to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is required. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS: Licensed for a minimum of 3 years; No more than 2 violations and/or accidents within 3 years; No vehicle related suspensions/reinstatements; No DUI, reckless or felony Driving within 7 years.

Experience/Specialized skills (including Language)

  • Minimum 3 - 5years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to capture, analyze and interpret statistical data to include strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources and employment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and managers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to include attention to detail, time management, with strong motivation in meeting deadlines in achieving goals.
  • Demonstrated ability with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment that involves a high workload with changing priorities.
  • Advanced level skills with computer applications and software, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite of applications to include Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.

71,386.00 - 101,887.00

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
