We are looking to enhance our Philanthropy program with a dynamic Communications Coordinator. This position will be responsible for working with our Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) and Director of Communications.
To support philanthropic growth within campaigns through research, stewardship, scheduling, meeting coordination, solicitation tracking, and other philanthropy administrative duties as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support activities in community engagement, including philanthropy supported events, dedications, luncheons, as needed
- Support the implementation of Kline Galland’s strategy to grow and engage our community through social media and digital marketing (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Yelp, Google). Analyze metrics to understand successes and opportunities

Analyze metrics to understand successes and opportunitiesWrite, edit and proofread digital content, ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand standards including blogs, website content, emails, correspondence for stewardship and other channels
Help coordinate communications projects and initiatives, both internally and externally, to meet the needs of the organization- Contribute to managing processes and outreach, growing engagement and lead generation, writing and project management support, assisting Director of Communications
- Assist with the collection and archive management of collateral, data, photos, testimonials.
- Act as protector of the organization’s brand voice and key messaging, while working to elevate awareness and promote brand
- Work collaboratively as a tight-knit team with the Director of Communications & Philanthropy Department, supporting team projects and priorities and filling in as needed
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing or related field
- 1-3 years of communications/marketing experience
- Experience in a nonprofit/mission-driven organization is a plus
- Ability to establish priorities, manage workflow, and meet objectives
- Ability to collaborate with the Director of Communications and Philanthropy team to positively impact strategies and direction of programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An overall positive attitude is expected, with a collaborative approach to decision-making
- Possess integrity, and discretion with managing working relationships with board members, donors and professional staff
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistent with Kline Galland mission and core values
- The ability to gain new skills and knowledge necessary for the performance of essential job functions. The ability to give, receive and analyze information
- Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers face to face
- Familiarity in navigating digital programs, systems, and processes
