The Director of Talent Acquisition designs and implements talent systems and strategies that attract and retain high-quality talent. Reports to: Chief Talent Officer

Starting Salary Range: $87,000-$108,000

Responsible: Tasks you are responsible for. Tasks are subject to change.

  • Coach and develop team members and hiring manager to reach our goals:
    • Model best practice strategies to improve employee recruitment and retention .
    • Take ownership over closing the gaps in recruitment and retention data.
    • Track, analyze and utilize org-wide data to make adjustments to practice and approach to meet outcomes
    • Facilitate excellent, practice-changing professional development in response to Talent and org-wide data, grounded in school/network goals and priorities.
    • Observe classrooms weekly and deliver targeted feedback to principals in relation to the Talent goals
      • Meet with employees who may exhibit retention flags.
  • Talent Planning and Strategy
    • Continuously monitors and analyzes data for hired, rejected, and non-accepting candidates to inform recruitment strategies and pivots to meet the goal
    • Ensuring the Employee Value Proposition is competitive and sustainable
  • Active End to End Recruiting
    • Design a year-long outreach plan that systematically builds a short- and long-term talent pool and pipeline by establishing events and partnerships to secure the highest quality candidates
    • Ensure Candidates have an effective and consistent onboarding process

  • Effective talent planning, outreach/sourcing and selection strategy for high quality candidates resulting in 90% highly qualified staffed for the new SY in all roles by EOY
    • Pool and Pipeline development
    • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications teams to create branded materials
    • Active End to End Recruitment for passive candidate
    • Equitable positive candidate and employee experience
  • Establish and maintain high standards of team performance by developing clear long-term and annual goals and actively monitoring performance against them where we maintain a retention rate of 90%
    • Demonstrate exceptional leadership by leading with accountability, empathy, emotional intelligence and empowerment.
    • Coaching and Development of members of the team and hiring managers and supervisors
