Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Real Estate Development Program in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, the Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development and the Center for Smart Growth Research and Education, periodically hires qualified professionals to teach in an adjunct capacity, typically teaching one semester and one course a year, but occasionally two courses and/or two courses a year. The Program offers a Certificate and a Master of Real Estate Development at the Graduate Level and a 5-course minor at the Undergraduate level.
Successful candidates will demonstrate teaching potential and evidence of achievement and experience in their area of expertise that will help advance and complement the Programs’ educational mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Real Estate Development Program seeks letters of interest, applications and resumes from qualified individuals. Minimum qualifications include a graduate degree in a relevant discipline. Experience in some instances may be substituted for degree. The Program seeks individuals who have teaching experience, or have demonstrated ability to speak effectively to
professional groups, guest speaking appointments or other involvement with professional and academic learning venues

Preferences:

Graduate Degree in a relevant area of expertise;
10 or more years of experience in the area of expertise.
