Job Overview
The role of the Subject Matter Expert (SME)IV-VIDS is to provide expert Crestron Programming support and advanced audio engineering support for a range of industries. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in C41SR systems. This position reports directly to the VIDS Group in Chesapeake, VA.
Pay Rate: $47-52/hourly based on experience
Work Model: Onsite/In-Office
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Working with NAVSEA, NIWC Atlantic and other technical codes the SME will:
- Support the system integration and system programming for the integration of complex audio-visual displays, various communication and electronic warfare systems, related ancillary and computer-based systems on shore & onboard naval ships and command centers worldwide.
- Support creation of new system code architecture, develop story boards as well as provide sustainment updates for legacy control systems.
- Support AMX, Extron (Python) Based Programming Language for this work.
- SME will work with STIG (Security and Technical Implementation Guidance) Scanning as it relates to audio visual networks & requirements to meet information assurance directives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Crestron Master Certified Programmer {MCP) with sixteen (16) years' experience.
- AVIXIA {CTS, CTS-D or CTS-1) Certifications.
- Must have valid driver's license.
