Role Summary:

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for clean code that works to join our team as a Senior Application Developer. This role will be primarily responsible for enhancing and maintaining our customer-facing and internal application code.

Key Responsibilities:
The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize application performance and ensures high availability by monitoring and tuning systems.
• Mentor junior Developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Perform code reviews, provides constructive feedback, and ensures code quality across the team.
• Implement and manage testing and CI workflows using common tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

• A strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving great patient outcomes.
• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in Ruby on Rails.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Elixir, Erlang, and Phoenix framework strongly preferred.
• Expertise in Ruby's object model.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, ORM, TDD, and REST

Work Environment | Physical Demands:

• Typical home office environment.
• Physical Demands: May occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboard, phone, print. Required to talk and hear. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and to manipulate keys on a keyboard and operate portable input devices (e.g., smart phone, mouse). May occasionally reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
