Job Summary

The Research Assistant (RA) will support the ongoing research and administrative functions within our thyroid research group ThyCARE within the Division of Metabolism Endocrinology & Diabetes. This position will provide administration support for multiple research studies, under multiple investigators, which will include an understanding of study protocols to assist with successful implementation of all study requirements. The RA will interact with the project manager, investigators, research staff within and outside of UM, study participants, and vendors/sponsors.

Work Schedule

This position will offer a flexible work schedule by offering both in-person and remote opportunities. Please note that due to the nature of this position, a minimum of 2 days per week in office at North Campus Research Complex in Ann Arbor, MI will be required.

Modes of Work

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.  Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
