The RISE (Rising to Excellence ) Program is a five-year, grant-funded program, and will consist of a strong, inter-district partnership between Fullerton College (FC), North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE), and Cypress College (CC). This program will consist of three stages: Plant, Grow, and Thrive. The RISE Program serves to support youth who are currently incarcerated in youth facilities located within San Bernadino County, as well as those youth who are exiting incarceration within North Orange County.

The Special Projects Manager will be spending the majority of their time within San Bernadino youth facilities. Some percentage of their time will also be spent on each of the three campuses within the North Orange County Community College District: NOCE, Cypress College, Fullerton College.

Lived experience.

Passion for working w/ youth impacted by the youth carceral system.

Community college system knowledge.

Program management/coordination experience.

Bachelors degree, preferably w/ social sciences focus.
