About the Role:
Key participant in the development and enhancement of governance, risk, compliance, and audit capabilities across the organization. Helps design new processes and procedures to strengthen third party risk management, global compliance, data governance, ethics and compliance training, and other core GRC functions in alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite._
Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
Supports the development of programs, policies, frameworks, and methods to effectively manage regulatory, operational, and third party risks across global business units
Collaborates with legal and compliance teams to interpret laws and regulatory requirements to design risk-based compliance solutions
Implements risk assessment methodology, reporting tools, and mitigation tracking to proactively address risk exposures
Establishes third party risk management standards including due diligence processes, contract terms, audit rights, and ongoing monitoring
Supports enterprise data governance strategy and standards for managing data as an asset across systems and groups
Partners to ensure systems enable transparent governance and compliance with controls
Continually identifies process and policy gaps
Contributes to the development of KPIs, dashboards, and reports to provide insights into program effectiveness for senior management
Stays current on GRC best practices, trends, and emerging regulations to evolve programs proactively
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relevant field and 4+ years of relevant experience OR
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relevant field and 2+ years of related experience
Professional certification related to Cybersecurity preferred
Expert knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies
Strong data analysis, business acumen, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of data loss prevention tools
Experience implementing GRC solutions with a proven track record of aligning programs with business objectives
Ability to achieve and maintain relevant security certifications
Demonstrated ability to research the latest trends and awareness of current hacking techniques and cybercrime
Working knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST 800, CIS, etc.)
Understand Neurocrine's business objectives and develop understanding of Neurocrine's services and customers
Has experience in specific functional disciplines while working to acquire higher-level knowledge and skills
Comfortable with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong computer skills
Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
Detail oriented
Ability to meet deadlines
Good project management skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $99,200.00-$143,675.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
